Does Astrolabe work offline?

Yes. Most features like AR mode, sun simulation, and saved plans work fully offline. For remote planning with Google Street View, you’ll need an internet connection.

Can I plan moon or Milky Way shots?

Not yet. Astrolabe currently supports the sun. Moon and Milky Way planning are in development and coming in future updates.

What devices are supported?

Astrolabe runs on iOS / iPadOS 17 and above.

Will it match my camera and lens?

Yes. You can configure your sensor size and focal length in the settings. Astrolabe will show an accurate field of view so you can preview your actual composition before the shoot.
